We have hit a snag in the development process, due to not really thinking our tasks through properly we are having to wait for one task to be completed before we continue. Now this should not happen as such, there should be enough tasks for people to work on to avoid this kind of situation.

Paul and Stacey were working on the saving to XML but stalled at the first hurdle of unit testing in nUnit. They spent over an hour trying to get a single test running and in the end it turned out to be not declaring the test class as ‘public’. While this is an easy mistake it did hold the entire project up and they did both agree that if one of them swapped out and worked with another group member who was confident in their knowledge of nUnit they would have gotten on better.

Still, the idea behind this is to learn and they both did.

If nothing else, the rest of us did make good progress on the HCI project.
