I was unable to attend today as the flat that belonged to my late grandfather, the flat I spent 4 years in while I studied and cared for him was being emptied prior to the completion of the sale on Friday.

While not a busy or stressful day, it was a hard and emotional one for both myself and my Mother. We were very close to him and it is not until we were removing the items from his flat that we realised just how close we were to closing the door on that part of our lives.

The group understood but from what I hear it did cause a problem since we are so close to the start of the project that until we have the groundwork in place we can’t progress that far. However by using Scrum part of this problem should be reduced as others can take my place as navigator.
